Shay is telling Tally that they don't have to look and act like everyone else. I would never get the transformation if i was her, because who would want to act and look like everyone anyways.

The first fight took place when they were pulling the prank, and the second fight took place when they were about to turn pretty. The first one was funny and stupid. The second was serious and Tally was not playing.

They probably think they are over the uglies. Ever since they even became pretty they have new skin,facial features, and they look perfect. The pretties are like monsters, they kind of got brainwashed during the surgery.
